• The uterus is a hollow muscular organ.
• Site of implantation sustains embryo and foetus during pregnancy play active role in partition.
• Shape = Like inverted pear.
• Supported by ligaments attached to the pelvic wall.
• The uterus is a major female hormone responsive reproductive organ.

# Regions of uterus :-

Fundus,cervix, cervical canal,Body corpus.
• Fundus -superior curvature
• cervix - uterus opens into vagina through a narrow cervix.
• cervical canal - cavity of cervix
• body Corpus - midportion
Vagina + Cervical Canal = Birth canal.
• The wall of uterus is made up of three layer of tissue
• perimetrium - Outer layer thin membrane.
• myometrium - Thick muscle layer of uterus that stretch enormously during pregnancy it consists of smooth muscle
• Endometrium- Lines the uterine cavity , the endometrium undergoes change during the menstrual cycle.

€ Cervix jab vegina se UTERUS/WOMB ki taraf badhte hai to Uterus ka first part milata hai jise cervix kahte hai . Aap Cervix ko UTERUS/WOMB ka entry portion bhi kah sakte hai.

• Body Corpus - midportion

Vagina + Cervical Canal = Birth canal.

€ Birth Canal jab ham VEGINA ka passage and Cirvical canal ko mila kar dekhenge to use birth canal kahenge. Birth canal isliye bhi kahenge kyoki jab Babby Maa k UTERUS / WOMB se bahar aayega to pahle cervix then VEGINA se bahar aayega.

€ UTERUS/WOMB ka wall mukhtya 3 layer / Satah se milkar bana hota hai.

€Jab ham upri satah se nichli satah pr jaayenge to pahla satah jo hota hai Use Perimetrium kahte hai.

• myometrium - Thick muscle layer of uterus that stretch enormously during pregnancy , it consists of smooth muscle .

€ Mayometrium 2nd layer hota hai jo thik layer hota hai . Parturation k time pr isi layer me contraction jayada hota hai,due to oxytocin Hormone . Or ye smooth muscle se milkar bana hota hai .

• Endometrium- Lines the uterine cavity , the endometrium undergoes change during the menstrual cycle .

€ 3rd layer Endometrium jo ki UTERUS/WOMB k cavity me hota hai . Isaka thickness Generally 45 year tak change hota rahta hai menstrual cycle .
MC 28 day ka fixed period ka hota hai jo female healthy hoti hai .
Female me MC 45 year me generally stop ho jata hai .
