There are three types of motion given by Newton

*First law of motion

*Third law of motion

* FIRST law of motion / Law of inertia / Galileo's law of inertia :

A body at rest will  remain rest and a body in motion will continue in motion in straight line with a uniform speed, unless it is compelled by an external force to change its state of rest or of uniform motion .
